Adisa Banjoko has had a banner year already. He has celebrated the 5th year of the Hip-Hop Chess Federation, graced the cover of Chess Life, was featured in Forbes magazine online and will soon be featured on ChessBase.com.

As part of his 5th anniversary, Bay area rapper T-K.A.S.H. produced a cut called, “RUN” featuring chessic words of Banjoko. The “improvement movement” seems a revolutionary ode against the social ills that the HHCF is trying to address.

Known as “The Bishop of Hip-Hop”, Banjoko has some plans this year for another groundbreaking event and hopefully The Chess Drum will be able to get an interview to get the details. Stay tuned!
