Christo Cave regained his crown by summarily destroying the field at the Trinidad and Tobago National Championship with a perfect 11-0. This marks the second consecutive year that this has been accomplished. FM Ryan Harper, last year's 11-0 winner, was 2nd with 9-2 and only lost to Cave. Cave has won the event a record 11 times.
