Orrin Hudson featured on CNN… book forthcoming!

Orrin C. Hudson continues to blaze the trails with his "Life Through Chess" campaign and has announced the unveiling of a new book which will articulate his vision. The book is due out in the Spring.

Accolades have been piling up for the Alabama native as he most recently won the Turknett Leadership Award as well as the 2004 MLK Award for community Service, the 2004 TBS Superstation Pathfinders Award for Education and the 2004 Beacon of Hope award for volunteering.

Hudson's Be Someone, Inc.  is unique in that it utilizes chess as a motivational tool for helping children to build self-esteem and has been featured nationally on various media outlets including
CNN American Stories, Sky Angel Network and CNN Headline News.

Be Someone, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Its mission is to reduce crime and violence, build character, hope and inspiration among disadvantaged youth.
