Atlanta's 11Alive TV features Orrin Hudson

"Chess is life… every move has consequences.
Doing well means knowing how to recognize opportunities."

This is the mantra of Orrin Hudson, founder of BeSomeone, Inc. For the past several years, Hudson has provided a positive outlet for at-risk students by showing them that each move they make in life determines their destiny.

It is also this message that Hudson has brought to students at
Project Destiny, a public-private hybrid for students expelled from other schools for violent behavior. In February, students went to a statewide tournament held in Augusta and won a first place  team trophy.

When watching in action, Hudson it is apparent that his message resonates with his students. He will host his
6th Annual Be Someone Day on Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 1-4pm. The event will take place at the Stonecrest Mall, 7900 Mall Ring Road, Lithonia.
