Denny to lead Barbados to Olympiad
Barbados Barbados Barbados

Barbados will travel to Mallorca, Spain this week with perhaps their strongest team in recent years. IM Kevin Denny (2334) will lead the charge as the highest rated player in the English-speaking Caribbean. The "Bajans" will be missing Askari Elson who played in the previous two Olympiad… his first at age 14. Denny, a 13-time National Champion will be playing in the international arena for the first time in a couple of years. He will be well-prepared and has the potential to cause the same stir that IM Robert Gwaze caused in Bled. Below is the lineup for the 2004 Barbados Olympiad team (in board order).
