IM Oladapo Adu, a Nigerian national, played a very interesting game against fellow IM Blas Lugo at the 2004 World Open. This game featured a queen sacrifice and was even more interesting because Lugo had two black queens to roam the board for several moves.

Lugo was short on time which made the defense of his exposed king even more difficult. Understanding the danger, the Cuban immigrant threw his queens in harm's way to protect the king, but it would not be enough and Adu would capitalize on time-pressure mistakes.
