There was an interesting article featuring Maurice Ashley in the October 3rd Baltimore Sun. These days Ashley is spending a lot of time as an influence on the youth. He is now authoring, coaching and touring the country with his unique brand of chess evangelism. In the recent article titled, "Sharing his Passion," Brent Jones covered Ashley's visit to the  Enoch Pratt library which doubled as a fundraiser for Benjamin Carson's scholarship fund.
