International Chess Grandmaster Nigel Short will be conducting a chess lecture, workshop and simultaneous exhibition tomorrow at the Norman Manley Law School.

The lecture and simultaneous exhibition will be held tomorrow Saturday January 07, 2006 at the Norman Manley Law School with the registration starting at about 9 am.

GM Short, who is scheduled to arrive in Jamaica at approximately 5:05 pm today from London, will on Sunday visit some of Jamaica's attractions and on Monday he will pay a courtesy call on the Governor-General, before departing Jamaica Monday evening.

Short's stay in Jamaica is being sponsored by the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel and Avis Rent-A-Car Ltd.
