World Chess Network interviews FIDE hopefuls

With the FIDE election campaign in full swing, candidates Bessel Kok has been interviewed by the World Chess Network (WCN). Conducted on the 13th of December, WCN asked Kok a number of interesting questions pertaining to his motives, his qualifications, his goals and the current FIDE Championship cycle.

Most will remember that Kok was a key negotiator that brought about the moribund Prague Agreement for unification. The Chess Drum was contacted by
Michel Gagné, the Director of Marketing at WCN and made the interview available. Kok is teaming with Turkish chess official Ali Nihat Yazici to unseat the incumbent President, Kirsan Ilymzhinov. They call their party "The Right Move."
