The 2002 Chess Olympiad has begun!!

More than 130 nations are now in Bled, Slovenia to partake in the premier team chess event in the world… the Chess Olympiad. The biennial event features each country's "Dream Team" of chess players.

The Chess Drum will cover the two-week event and provide up-to-date news reports, commentary, interviews, game analysis… and plenty of photos. Reports are already coming in from
Ian Wilkinson (Jamaica), Daniel Nsibambi (Uganda) and Allan Herbert (Barbados). International Arbiter Jerry Bibuld will provide photos to bring life to the action  in Bled.
