It's Matthews vs. Pitterson in Jamaican KO Chess Clash!

Jamaica

Both NM Shane Matthews and NM Jomo Pitterson have proved themselves to be two of Jamaica's promising players. In the ongoing Jamaican Master KO tournament, both have made it to the finals with Matthews beating NM Russel Porter 2½-1½ and Pitterson nipping FM Warren Elliott by the same score. The Jamaican Chess Ambassadors Academy reports that both Matthews and Pitterson will meet in a four-game set on May 11, 12, 18, and 19 at UTECH.  Both of these Jamaican Masters have met in the past two years for the Jamaican National Blitz championship with Pitterson winning the title both times!! Matthews, Jamaica's #1 player, will be looking to send Pitterson a message before attempting to wrestle the blitz crown back later this year.
