"Chess Competitions Concludes," Addis Tribune, 9 August 2002, (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia).
The two-week chess competitions organized by the Ethiopian Chess Federation and Sheraton Addis concluded last Sunday.
Forty-one men and three women took part in the competitions organized for the second time.
Solomon Tibebu became the winner of this year's competitions followed by Yimam Abera and Wossenyelew Hailu who took second and third respectively.
Winners received medals and other prizes from Sheraton Addis' Banquet Manager.
