Kasparov Chess Foundation creates African analytics!

In a continuing initiative to help the African continent improve playing standards Kasparov Chess Foundation for Africa has released statistical tables for the Africa continent. These stats include metrics such as Country Rankings, Country Statistics, Top 20 African Players and others.

What is surprising is that these analytical tables had not previously been compiled by any of the African chess officials, African federations or FIDE itself. It is valuable data although there have already been suggestions for additional categories. Nevertheless, it is a good start to building benchmarks for African chess and also being able to gauge the continents progress over time.
