Kasparov2014 campaigns in Jamaica!

Jamaica Jamaica Jamaica

Garry Kasparov takes his campaign to the Caribbean with his first stop being in Jamaica. It is Kasparov’s first trip to the region and told Malaku Lorne that he had heard a lot about Jamaica growing up and was thrilled to talk about potential in the region. He visits during a tournament at the American International School and will be present at the closing ceremonies.

Lorne asked if Kasparov wanted a game of blitz and the surprised champion talked about his level of exhaustion after a trip to Mexico. Kasparov certainly has a number of ideas, but mentioned that he had heard a lot about scholastic programs in Jamaica. Hopefully, some of his ideas will bear fruit whether or not he becomes the FIDE President.
