Thrilling finale set for Trinidad
Trinidad Trinidad Trinidad

What a wild weekend! Things just got a bit tighter in the Trinidad and Tobago National Championship as the frontrunners took turns beating each other. In the rounds leading up to the game that will decide the champion, Ryan Harper lost to Christo Cave in round 9 and Cave lost to Yogi Ramsingh in round 10.

This puts Harper at the lead on 8-2, Ramsingh on 7½-2½ and Cave at 7-2. Cave, the defending champion, was effectively eliminated from title contention after his loss to Ramsingh. This sets up a final round match between Harper and Ramsingh and the winner will become the new champion. Both have won the title in previous years.
