The top boy and the top girl in each section will qualify to participate in the 2005 Pan-American Youth Festival. Accommodations and meals will be provided to these players at no cost.

The top player in each section will receive the FIDE Candidate Master Title which will be officially approved at the next Titles and Rules Commission meeting in Spain, 2004.

The tournament will be held at the University Center at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. The main entrance to Florida Atlantic University is east of I-95 on Glades Road. It is the second traffic light heading east from I-95. The Florida Turnpike also has an exit at Glades Road.

If you are staying in the FAU dorms, you will be staying in the Indian River Towers. Click here for more info on the dorms. Much of the info applies only to the year round college students. The Indian River Towers dorms are suite types D and E.
