Chicago chess whiz launches jayeltaylor.com!

In this day of 13-year old Grandmasters, children are becoming stimulated earlier with each generation. Four-year old Jayel Taylor of Justice, Illinois recently launched his own website. The site  contains lots of interesting information and gives the reader a chance to peer into the mind of a gifted child.

Jayel's parents (
Freddie and Krystal Taylor) supervised the project which has only been up for a couple of weeks. The site includes his recent interview with CBS, many nice family pictures and of course his latest chess adventures. The photogenic pre-schooler can be seen throughout wearing his oversized Chicago Cubs cap. In the future, the site will feature annotated games.

To add to his short, but growing résumé, Jayel recently was named Chicago's
"Chess Kid of the Month" and was featured at chessinchicago.com. After the announcement, his mother Krystal told The Chess Drum, "Pride does not begin to explain what I feel right now." Of course, this honor will be another addition to his newly-launched website.
