Simutowe in France for Cappelle LaGrande

IM Amon Simutowe will compete in the 2004 Cappelle LaGrande international tournament beginning February 28th. He will join a host of other players in one of the world's strongest open tournaments. Simutowe last played in the tournament in 2001, narrowly missing a GM norm. The 22-year old student is continuing his ascent and is coming off of a solid performance at the  Carlos Torre Memorial Mérida Tournament. Zambia's #1 player has already qualified for the FIDE World Championship tournament and hopes to show good form in this tournament.
