Canadian IM Michael Schleifer gives lectures at World Chess Network!

IM Michael Schleifer earned his IM title at the 1999 Canadian Closed Championships by scoring 6-3 and =2nd with four others behind GM Alexandre LeSiege.  He defeated IM Byron Nickoloff in a tense last round battle to earn the coveted title. IM Schleifer will be a participant in the Wilbert Paige Memorial to be held July 14-23 in Harlem, New York. This month, the Montreal native will provide online lessons titled, "Lectures for Beginners" at the World Chess Network (WCN) on June 19th at 8:00pm and June 20th at 6:00pm. Both times are USA eastern zones. The WCN also has lectures on various chess topics featuring players such as GM Larry Christiansen (USA), GM Eric Lobron (GER), IM William Paschall (USA), and FM Pascal Charbonneau (CAN).
