FM Muhammad joins team of coaches for the Castle Chess Camp in Atlanta!

FM Stephen Muhammad is perhaps the strongest player in Georgia and is a regular participant in major tournaments in the U.S. chess circuit. With many GM and IM scalps to his credit, FM Muhammad has built a reputation as a competitive tournament player and as a fierce blitz player. Sporting an Internet Chess Club (ICC) blitz rating of 2800+, Muhammad has gathered a following with the administration of chess lessons. In the words of one player, "He has definitely mastered that system." Besides his online instruction, he will take part as a coach at the Emory University Castle Chess Camp to be held June 16th and 17th in Atlanta, Georgia. He will join GM Arthur Bisguier, GM Tal Shaked, IM Jonathon Schroer, and fellow FM Alex Dunne. The end of the week-long chess camp will coincide with the Emory Castle Grand Prix tournament with a guaranteed prize of $3000. Young players will have a chance to put their new lessons to immediate use. For more information, contact David Wolff at emorychess@mindspring.com or (404) 634-0607.
